Local wifi transfer problemquestion

I am using my android(moto e 1st gen) and my pc on same wifi network. First time when is used airdroid it was version 2.-- something and local file trasnfer was working smoothly but since i updated it to v3.1.2 i am unable to transfer files using local file trasnfer mode instead it automatically connects in remote connection mode(although both devices are on same network). So any suggestion to solve this problem

Can you use the lite mode? And do you change any settings of the router?
