Impossible to AirMirror on Mac with Nexus 6P

I am trying to use the AirMirror function on a Mac with my Nexus 6P, it is however always telling me

Device not connected properly. Please confirm that the Android device is connected to the computer via USB and USB debugging is enabled.

I made sure the debugging is connected and checked (and swapped) the USB cable. Am I missing something?

Hi, would you please try to plug out the USB cable and then plugin again and see if it works?

Please pay attention to the phone scree and see if there is any popup messages to confirm.
