Ive spent hours trying to figure out how to set my external sd card as the default path for transferring files but no matter what i do all of my files get transferred to the internal sd card of my phone. Is it even possible to change the default transfer path to my external card?

Hi, if you transfer files from PC desktop client to the phone, then sorry that there is no way to change the path to save the files on the phone.
If you transfer files from web.airdrod.com to the phone, then you can select the path you want to save the files on your phone. Pls check this post about that: http://forums.airdroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16465
