Group Messagesquestion

Guys AirDroid gives 0 shits about group messages there have been people asking about this since 2015 or earlier I recommend dropping AD and using something else. And yes Mightytext is wayyyyy better I was just looking for an alternative because now they have a max of 150 free texts a month...thinking I might just go back to Mightytext and pay for premium because it supports group and normal texts without issue. Brand new user as of today and disappointed to discover this as well. If AirDroid wants me to seriously consider wanting to subscribe, the feature functionality needs to be there, even as a premium subscription service [to entice me to pay for it]. Without group texting, this app is a flop, despite how awesome it appears in all other ways. Not a great first impression seeing this within hours of discovery.

The only reason I downloaded this app and created an account is to use SMS texting on my computer. Not having group texts renders the feature virtually useless. I feel ripped off, this huge lack of functionality should be clearly stated in the description of the app.

I'm a premium user and now just figured out that AirDrod does not support group messages. I ONLY use AirDroid to text from my MacBook and Mac Desktop. Looks like I will be finding some other home and canceling my subscription.

@viper949, Mightytext. Never heard of it. I will have to check it out. I used MySms for a while. Left that for some reason. I think it was the premium fee and it was not keeping up with all the text messages. I would not recommend it. Thanks for the MightyText!

I'm not seeing group texts appear on the desktop app. And when I create a new group texts on the desktop app it texts them out individually. How do I see and create group texts?

I use AirDroid at work on my windows computer because using/having notifications go off on my phone is a no no at work!! However, when 50% or more of texts that I receive are in the group text format, I realized that I am missing many texts while at work thus pretty much preventing the functionality of the app for me. What's the point of using AirDroid on a PC to check the status of my phone when in reality I have to check both the phone AND the Desktop app.

Think this is a great piece of software and really looking forward to when this issue will be resolved.

this app is a joke i have to come to this forum to find the same exact issue i am having only to find that there were no resolution to it despite the early complaints and discovery
