Why do I have to confirm the message on my phone?question

I'm working with a client who has no function in her upper limbs. She is using Airdroid on her android phone tethered by USB to her Windows laptop. Of late, a message appears when she is trying to send a text via computer that she must confirm the message on her phone (which she is unable to physically do). This seems like an odd step - is there any way around this? Thanks
