Hi ,

Thank you for your feedback.

When you sign in web Airdroid you can choose"connect via Https" and then you will use https to sign in.

Re: HTTPS

HTTPS is secure then HTTP. HTTPS, the connection is encrypted. The server owner buys a certificate validating the site from a trusted SSL. All the data of the user remain save on HTTPS.

Re: HTTPS

Just read the FAQ to find out that HTTPS mode must use Remote connection between devices. Any chance this will change in the future?

Re: HTTPS

From this post, I came to know about the http feature was included in the new version of this app. It could be more helpful if you provide some more details regarding this new version.

Re: HTTPS

HTTPS has his own value. The "s" at the stands for secure. This protocol is most often used for sign-in pages where passwords are entered or check out pages when you make a purchase. It’s identity that your site is secure.

Re: HTTPS

yeah tutorial is what i was looking for right now currently i haven't able to find anywhere else.
Hi,

When you sign in with HTTP, the connection mode can be switched between remote and local mode.

However, when you choose to sign in with HTTPS, the connection mode will be automatically switched to remote due to the security structure and requirement of https.

Reason? Https uses certificate authentication which is stored in our server, hence it is required to be connected to server under https.

When you sign in web Airdroid you can choose"connect via Https" and then you will use https to sign in.

And you can also make setting on your device: Open Airdroidd > Setting >General > choose HTTPS connection.

Feel free to let us know if you need further help.

Best Regards,

Re: HTTPS

HTTPS is a secure connection. This is used on any page that is sending personal information (i.e.: credit card numbers, login information, etc.). So, if you are doing any of those things, then HTTPS is preferred. A-One Assignment writing service
