[Help & FAQ] How to Set Desktop Notifications for AirDroid Web in Firefox and Safari?

If you don't install AirDroid Win/Mac on your computer, you can also enable desktop notifications to view all Android notifications on your computer, even when web.airdroid.com is not the current page.

Requirement: AirDroid web signed in

Firefox:
Requirement: Firefox 22.0 and later

1. Open Firefox, sign in to your AirDroid account on web.airdroid.com.
2. Click Account > General > check Enable desktop notifications > click Save:



A notification will pop up at the upper left corner:



3. Click the down arrow next to Show for this session:



Select Always Show Notifications:



Firefox can receive desktop notifications now.

You can check it by clicking the grey globe icon next to the address bar, the status of Show Notifications should be Allow:




Safari:
Requirement: OSX Mavericks, Safari 6.0 and later

1. Open Safari, sign in to your AirDroid account on web.airdroid.com.
2. Click Account > General > check Enable desktop notifications > click Save:



3. A notification will pop up, click Allow:



Safari can receive desktop notifications now.

You can check it by clicking Safari > Preferences > Notifications, the status should be Allow:
