This happens to me too. Using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (N9005) with rooted, stock 4.4.2 and Airdroid 3 on Windows 8.1.
I can also see permissions being granted to Airdroid and the VNC server, my phone's screen will turn black, but the client is always stuck on "Connecting to your device". When I check the task manager on Windows, I can see the Airdroid 3 taking significant CPU time though I am unable to interact with anything on the client.

Hi,
i had the same issue. Airdroid wasn't asking for Root Permission.

Actually i just went to "preferences" and set "allow su" as the standard procedure, and this worked perfectly for me.

i don't know the right terms in the english menu though...

Hi Am using Xperia C (C2305) and it is RootedThe problem is when am connecting it with AirMirror it is showing an error
Connection failed. You can:
1. Check if the Network is working.
2. Unlock or wake up your Android device.


Retry

In my mobile it is showing like


"Granted AirDroid to get root permission"


I tried it for so many times still getting same issue.
Am able to connect with AirDroid3
Call history, Contacts, SMS, Notifications everything is perfect, the only problem is AirMirror
Even am able to connect with web browser also


So please help me to solve the problem
