Time-out

Since installing version 3, I am continually being disconnected because of a supposed time-out after 1 to 2 minutes. Any suggestions please because it is sending me insane?

Any error message? Your device model, Android version? OS? Web browser?

When you open AirDroid on your Android device you'll notice there are two web addresses: http://web.airdroid.com and an IP address like http://192.168.xx.xx:8888. If your Android device and computer are on the same WiFi network, you'll be able to visit the IP address above on your computer. And you'll enter Lite mode.

Lite mode allows you to connect your Android devices directly, without passing through the AirDroid web servers. It may not have all the AirDroid features.

How to sign in with IP address?

Open AirDroid on your Android device, and you should see something like the screenshot below:

Tried lite mode and it is no different. Even installed Firefox and it made no difference. Just this morning I received the message "Disconnected by device" eleven times! I am going to have to uninstall this app and try and find something that works.
