Cannot connect to device using PC but can connect using browser

I installed Airdroid yesterday and also the Airdroid app on my PC. I was able to connect to my tablet both from the browser and Airdroid app on PC.

Today I installed it on my Sony Xperia phone and I am able to access the phone using the web browser. But the PC app cannot see the phone. I tried finding devices nearby and the PC cannot find the phone. I can still connect to the tablet from the PC but the PC app cannot find the phone.

How do I add the device to the PC as I want to use the mirror facility?
