Strange IP !?

Hi all!
Could any of u be so kind and help a little? The ip shown on my tab is wrong.
Looks more like a mac adress. Starts with 2002:3eb2:87*****and is really
long ( contains 40!! numbers and letters ). So this is certainly wrong
and browser won´t find this. Reboot didn´t work as well as delete and
new install. Do you have any idea??? Thx in advance!

i have this problem to, on my new nexus ICS 4.0.2.

problem solved with the new beta.
all function are oké.

There's bug causing this on certain devices. It will be fixed in next update. All users having this issue may contact us at support@airdroid.com to get a test apk which got this solved. Thanks!

It's an IPv6 address, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6

Did you try typing it? It looks legitimate and ought to work (assuming your network is IPv6-enabled), though it's tedious to type!

Why ICS is defaulting to IPv6 for this app is another question.... (-:

It IS an IPv6 address, but wrongly formatted. To be usable in any browser, it should read like this:

http://[2002:5354:4f03:e472:a20b:baff:fec8:34d7]:8888
