SMS duplicate messages being sent

Hi when typing a message using the desktop app and hitting 'send' the sending mail animation just goes on endlessly and the message appears in the phone as undeliverable, when I hit 'retry sending' on the phone it sends the message. Unfortunately my recipients are telling me my messages are arriving twice, any ideas? Desktop is Vista Buisness 32bit, Firefox 12.0, Phone is HTC Desire, Android v2.2. Thanks

Try ChompSMS or Go SMS and see what behaviour you get...

I use Chomp now as the default SMS (on ICS) was sending messages duplicate messages - although this was directly on the phone...

Thanks hardevsroa that fixed my issue, I simply installed ChompSMS and no duplicate messages being sent out.
