Today I realized that AirDroid is trying to use the WiFi connection on my Galaxy S II (Stratosphere) and if it's off, starts the WiFi service itself. At work however, the WiFi service requires authentication through a web page and I never use it. Therefore, when I try to connect to my phone without using local WiFi or tethering at work, the connection always fails because even though I am fully connected to the WiFi network, I can't use it.
How do I have AirDroid not start the WiFi service automatically so that I can connect back to it through the Verizon 4G network?
