The Contacts "feature" in 2.0.9 does exist. It's slow and a little confusing to use, and sometimes it freezes. The total number of contacts seems to have multiplied, and I really can't be bothered trying to figure out why.
Compared to the incomparably awful KIES, AirDroid is positively gold-plated, but I will only be using it occasionally and only for some of the things it does well, like gaining access to the cameras of the phone. It's not a brilliant file manager, and it's certainly not a tool for managing contacts.
For day-to-day interface with my S3 I'll be using MyPhoneExplorer.
