Note 3 airdroid problem.

Airdroid was working beautifully on android OS 4.3...Lan connection with Asus AC66 router is crazy fast.

After upgrading to 4.4.2 (verizon) last month, I noticed that airdoid is pretty much useless.
SMS doesn't allow deleting of threads.
Deleted threads appear on airdroid.
I cannot edit files names.
SD file transfer stop working.
Notification is a hit and miss.

NOW: for the past 2 weeks, I noticed that I can only connect on remote connection.
Please help

My Note 3 (w/ KitKat) always starts in "Remote Connection Mode" now too, but if I tap "Disconnect" on the phone and then click "Reconnect" from the webpage on the PC, it will do so in "LAN Connection Mode!?!"
It's really annoying, but consistently works. Also, my notifications seem to be working fine...

I can no longer connect in LAN connection mode either. You're pretty lucky that you can connect in LAN mode after restarting the connection...
