web.airdroid.com doesn't use any encryption!

This topic was already raised on the old AirDroid forums, the web.airdroid.com site uses no encryption for usernames, passwords, or any other communications.  As one of the original posters put it, airdroid can now wipe my phone, it needs to be as secure as possible.  It's been two years since this security problem was pointed out and the web interface still provides no security, are there any plans to fix this?

Alternatively, anyone who uses the web interface should be aware of the fact that there's no security present, so that anyone who can sniff their credentials (for example over a wireless connection) will have complete access to, and control over, their Android devices.
