Failed to load configuration file on Chrome

I'm getting the "Failed to load configuration file" error on Chrome (v. 28.0.1500.95). Using Galaxy S3, v. 2.0.4 of Airdroid. I found postings on fixes for Firefox, but nothing for Chrome. I have deleted all data and cache on my phone's Airdroid app, uninstalled the app and re-installed, cleared cookies and cache on Chrome and restarted Chrome, but I'm still getting the error.

Heh, just commented in another thread about this:

quoted text:
"Unfortunately I'm getting this error now and noScript is not my
culprit. Using chrome without ANY addons/extensions installed. This
was working fine for the last few days, even this morning, but now all
of a sudden I get stuck in this loop.

I did a little trouble
shooting to hopefully narrow this down, it seems like it's something to
do backend with the site itself web.airdroid.com

If I'm signed
into airdroid on the phone (little person tab up top next to options)
and try to sign in through web.airdroid.com either using name/pass combo
or QR code, I get stuck in the fail to load loop. HOWEVER if I sign
out of airdroid on my device, and then associate using the QR code, I'm
back in just fine.

I've tried clearing data on app and re-signing
in, as well as clearing data, uninstalling, re-installing, and
re-signing in. If I'm signed in on the device, I get put in a loop, if I
sign out and QR join, I'm attached.

Available to do any troubleshooting further, please help keep this great app great!

Oh also, quick mode (going straight to the phone itself) seems to work regardless!

Lastly,
never attached with QR before, was always using name/pass, but noticed
the power button (disconnect) is absent in my browser, not sure if
that's because I used QR or not."

I'm getting the same issue. Rather annoying as the app looks great.

***FIXED***

it works again, NO NEED TO UNINSTALL OR CLEAR CACHE IN CHROME
it was just a problem on web.airdroid.com side, not your phone, not your app, not your browser/computer, whatever it was generating bad QRs perhaps under heavy load or something tweaked that went wrong, now it back online, thanks whoever fixed that.

Thanks for your feedback. It was a temporary server error and it has been fixed now.

Annndddd.... it's back.
I successfully connected yesterday, and today "Failed to load configuration file. Click OK to sign in again."
I have been searching for the QR code page to log in again, and have been spectacularly unsuccessful in finding anything remotely like the QR page I used to find using web.airdroid.com - using this website goes directly to the sign-in popup that then shows the error message above.

Do we have any clue as to how long the "server error" will take to be fixed?

I use this app every day and am lost without it! Please help?

I'm new to this app and i'm getting the same issue. Not a good first impression. So is this issue going to be fixed
or am I going to have to do a uninstall?
