Hello everyone. I recently moved to college, and, long story short, found AirDroid and love the idea because I am not using my phone as much now because I use my computer for most everything. Here's the problem: My college (like most) uses a proxy to connect to the Internet. We do have Wi-Fi, but typically my laptop is plugged in with an Ethernet cord. I tried putting both my phone and computer on the Wi-Fi, but still had no success. Does anyone know what I need to do to get AirDroid to work? The QR code on the website does not show up for me, and when I enter the passcode, it says "Failed to authenticate. Make sure both devices are on the same network." My phone is the HTC EVO 3D on Sprint. It has Bluetooth and all of that, as well as my computer. What can I do to make this work? I thought maybe USB tethering would work, and I did try that, but it gave me the same error. I would greatly appreciate any help or ideas! Thank you!
