Cannot send text messages from web.airdroid.com

I'm very happy with AirDroid except for this one problem. Incidentally it was one of the main reasons I wanted AirDroid... I wanted to be able to send text messages from my computer. So what is going on here? Every time I try and send a text message I get the following error message: "Error. Failed to send message."
I really want to love this application. Please help.

p.s. this application has root privileges, even though I don't see why they are even needed.

Would you please tell us your device model, Android version, web browser you are using? What connection mode? The OS? AirDroid version?

And does this happen frequently?

The root permission is for Screenshot feature. Only rooted devices can use Screenshot on web.airdroid.com.
