I used AirDroid (Lite version) and the only way I could get it to work was through the 'tools' then enabling wifi AirDroidAP via the
wifi tethering option. It would not work via secure httpS connection. More worringly it changed my secure wifi hotspot to
an open insecure one and removed my phone's SSID permanently with an open AirDroidAP network. The old version of AirDroid just worked.
By changing my SSID I can no longer see my WPA2 password, which is linked to a wifi enabled TV and Printer.
