Messages: "To:" field does not find contacts

I've exactly the same problem. I can't (as before) locate a previously used name using the New Message button, instead have to use the Contacts section to locate the name & write the message that way.

Also on a Samsung Galaxy but an S3 running Android 4.4.2 and using AirDroid 3.0.1.

This wasn't a problem with Airdroid 2.

And the search box is case sensitive now, could you please try if this is the cause?

but "ma"

finds
- Emma
- Timmay

So, its not finding people where the search letters are the first letters of the name.

e.g.

enter: "emm"
or
enter: "Emm"


finds nothing,

enter "mma"

finds
- Emma


So to find "max" which is what i was doing when i discovered this bug, i now search for "ax" which works! ha!
