CONTACTS NOT SHOWING UP

Ever since I started using Airdroid years ago, I've never been able to load and show my contacts.
Even with verion 3.0 the error I get is "failed to connect the device".
The rest of the functions are working.
Any hint?

Likewise. I've contacts who I've both sent and received TXTs with who don't show up in the address box search.
