Airdroid breaks my (short) SMS into multiple messages.

I have a rooted Xperia 4.4.4 . In Airdoid, when I pastt a short text into the SMS message window, it sends the message as several short messages.

For example. this :

"Call this clinic in Chiang Mai HTC 053-804-405 . They say they do palliative care, co maybe they are are generous with opiates and other stuff that can make you more comfortable." [147 charachters with no spaces, 179 with spaces]

is sent as this:

Call this clinic in Chiang Mai
HTC : 053-804-405 . They say the
