Subtitlesquestion

In AirDroid Web I can open the Videos folder. In the Others group I can find movies that are on my cell phone. When I select one and click on the play button a video player pops up (after a warning that the move is larger that 100 Mb and subsequently ignoring it) and starts playing the movie. Super fantastic!
However, the subtitle file (same name as the video file but with srt extension) is completely ignored resulting in a movie without subtitles. Can subtitles be added to this popup video player please?
