connecting to site

Airdroid looks great, but my pc laptop (win xp) logs in and connects ok, and within 3 seconds drops out with message"rest connection"
i have turned of the firewall but to no avail.
any clues out there?

I am using Firefox browser btw..

I added http://web.airdroid.com to my trusted sites under internet options, and it seemed to help.

I was able to connect using the IP address and password option (took two times each time I was successful) on Chrome. I am still not able to use the QR scan option on Chrome. I can't connect using either method on IE.

This was happening to me. Managed to get round it by unticking "Block third-party cookies and site data" in the chrome settings for Privacy -> Content Settings.
I can't seem to add an exception to only allow web.airdroid.com?

I was getting the same error in Chrome. The problem is related to security and ports, as reported my developer tools. I resolved the issue by telling the AirDroid APP to use port 8888.
Then browse to
http://10.0.3.81:8888/ and try connecting again you should be good.

I use a JB rooted GNex.

Samsung S 3., Same problem.
Using I.E 7 and also tried Moxilla's Sea Monkey. Neither worked

What other APP should I consider until this is solved?

You guys have same issue with newly released v1.0.8beta? Please try Chrome if no luck with IE.

Airdroid also very laggy for me

Example... Messages does not show when you open a contact with previous messages


Phone details (space left etc) does not show and just leaves 2 "_" instead
