I found a fix for my Airdroid connection reseting; go into your browser settings and make sure that Third Party Cookies is "Allowed". I had them blocked which was my problem.

Problem connecting as well: I'm using Connectify Hotspot to connect to my PC. Tablet (Transformer TF101) receives IP address. From the PC, pinging the tablet IP is OK. However, none of my browsers is able to connect to AirDroid.
Help would be welcome.

Sorry, problem fixed: downloaded version 1.0.7 after reviewing posts and most of all disabling proxy in browser (me idiot!).
Will try with most recent version tomorrow.

I have set up Airdroid with a permanent password, however I have noticed that from time to time the address changes between 100 and 101.
That is the address changes from http://192.168.1.100:8888/ to http://192.168.1.101:8888/. The change is intermittent. I might notice that Airdroid has dropped off, and when I get someone to restart it on the phone, I can't get there the address and when looking at the phone. I have discovered it has changed from say 100 up to 101. This may be a matter of a few days.
I am completely paralysed and use Dragon VRS, so it is quite annoying! Can anyone shed any light on how I can stop this happening? Thanks. Tom Rae. Kaukapakapa, New Zealand.

Two separate issues here. The problem with connection reset and third party cookies is probably caused by using the http://web.airdroid.com address, if you use the IP address of the device, the one ending with :8888, it works fine.
The problem with the IP address of the device changing is down to the DHCP server on your router. The DHCP lease defaults to 24 hours on the routers I've used, so if you don't use the device for that time on that router you may get a different address. You may be able to change that to a longer lease.

The support guys here should know all that.

My Problem (HTC Android phone) set to use IP 192.168.2.108:8888 on our network, been working fine for ages suddenly Browser (Chrome & IE) reports "Could not connect" if I use the remote airdroid link it connects (but this gets grumbles from three.co.uk that I'm using my "Data" allowance in an unacceptable manner ! (It thinks I'm tethering.)I can ping the phone from the PC's but using Smart Ping am unable to ping anything from my phone?
Anyone got any ideas?
