Can not uninstall AirDroid v2.0 (01-28) beta

I can not uninstall AirDroid version 2.0 (01-28) beta.

Image
When I go to Apps - Settings - Application Manager,
both the Force Stop and Uninstall buttons are greyed out.

Image
If I go to Apps, then choose Uninstall from the menu,
it seems as if AirDroid is possible to uninstall..

Image
..I even get the warning box that AirDroid will be uninstalled,
but when I click OK, nothing happens at all.

Image
Lastly, in my Google Play account, I can not see AirDroid among the installed applications.
Instead, it is listed among those that I have uninstalled.

I don't know any other ways to try to uninstall an app.

I was thinking that I maybe should try to just install AirDroid (version 1.x I guess?)
by clicking the Install button on the AirDroid entry in the "Other apps in my library" section of Google Play
- and hope that this would revert AirDroid v2 beta back to AirDroid v1.x,
and that it would be possible to uninstall this AirDroid v1.x..?

But I thought I should try to ask you people first..
- do you know what I should do to uninstall the AirDroid v2.0 (01-28) beta?

I had this issue too. Start airdroid and find its settings in the top right corner. Among the options is the uninstall option. Voila!

i have a problem were aidroid crashes instantly when it starts. So i cant get to the menu to uninstall it or anything.
Wont work with app-killer either. Really annoying since it ask for pin code each time screen goes black.
Any thoughts?

Edit: restarted phone. Works now

Woow.. so Uninstall is located under "Settings".. ~X(
Thank you very much, theediot! =D>

However, for some reason, I didn't get a notification from this forum when you posted.
I didn't get one before LAM posted his comment yesterday.

So I have now already got the update to the final AirDroid 2.0 (AirDroid 2.0-50) (2013-04-26).
And this version seems to actually do the thing I wanted;
to let me connect through directly to my LAN through WiFi.

The web.airdroid.com link with the QR code etc just gives me a "configuration file could not be loaded" message, however, this may be because I didn't want to "Sign in" on the phone.

Anyway, by typing the local IP address of my phone and then :8888, it finally works 100%.
It says it's connected in "Lite mode" - I guess it means that I'm "missing out" on some of the new stuff in 2.0;

1. Device-free (lab). Sign in on the web and AirDroid will launch automatically on the device, even when it’s not nearby.
2. Same-network-free. No more same WiFi network restriction. Access AirDroid through different network with an AirDroid account.
3. Find Phone. Locate your device on a map. Lock it or wipe all data options.

These things may be useful for some, but since my need is to transfer a lot of data, e.g. 30 - 40 MB *.flac files, it seems a bit counter-productive to first send the file over 4000 miles to a server i Seattle, WA,
- and then back again.. when the distance between my PC and my phone is like 0.3 meter.
Plus, there was (is?) a "maximum file size is 5 MB" warning when trying to do this.

So, I'm actually keeping (the new, final) AirDroid 2.0
- at least as long as the "phoneipaddress:8888" still works! :)

Ok, I just wanted to say that I've updated to AirDroid 2.0.1 now,
and it's still working 100% good in local mode a.k.a "Lite Connection Mode" :)

Now, I'm again a very happy AirDroid user! <:-P

It's rubbish. It's slow, intrusive and unstable.

Then they try to charge you money to use it!

Don't pay these greedy bastards. Linux is FREE. So are Linux applications.

Your Airdroid is now Administrator (because you may registered with it on online).
Solution:
1: Go to Setting > security > Device Administartors > uncheck Airdroid2: Now try to uninstall
3: Done
:)
