Wrong report on used and availible space for the external SD card

Airdroid doesn't recognise my 32 GB SD card, it sees less then 8 GB total used and available. When uploading music files it stops way short of the true capacity. HTC One SV running android 4.0.4

I have the same problem. My card is 64GB (Samsung SIII, Android 4.1.2), app displays 11.25GB Total (number is the same as internal capacity), free 8.82 GBGB (yes GBGB). See image.
