whatsapp suport

Doable, i have a Whatsapp gateway running on my server written in PHP.
Whatsapp uses XMPP with small modifications, no need for an API, unless you want to read stored threads (which mostlikely are stored in a SQLite file. If so, reading existing threads should be easy)

I've been messing around in the whatsapp files and noticed all messages and contacts are stored in multiple SQLite files in plain-text.
With some work this could be implemented, i'm going to experiment with adding/editing/removing data and check if the app will catch it (ie. not crash because someone has touched the databases).

For people who are interested, the databases are stored in /data/data/com.whatsapp/databases

Im with everybody else! i would love to have Whatsapp manager on Airdroid

Currently using android screencast to connect to phone via usb. Works for using whatsapp on screen but it's slightly laggy.
If Airdroid can do it without the lagginess, it would be great!
