i leave my phone to charge and use my laptop in the 2nd floor and i don't hear any notifications and i can't know if i have a text

I agree this would be good

I would love this! If I have another tab open, I don't know if I get a new message. Even doing something like Omegle, like the blinking icon would work.

In addition to this, a little popup (like native Ubuntu ones) for an incoming SMS/call would be great.
