SMS notifications on the web browser?

I really love this feature of using your computer to send SMS using your phone's SIM card. Could there be like a notification feature or a extension that shows a pop for whenever you get a new message from your phone? Sometimes, I forget to leave my phone on silent and checking the browser can be tedious. Thanks

+1.... I'd really apreciate that... now i'm using another app just to get this kind of notification...it would be much better to have it on AirDroid

If Desktop notifications are the only thing you miss I made an extension which allows you to have these desktop notifications :
