No HTTPS in Firefox anymore?

When trying to use HTTPS mode in Firefox, I get the message: "HTTPS connection is not supported by your current web browser. Please try Google Chrome or Safari."

I don't understand why this feature was removed; not only did Firefox allow HTTPS before airdroid 2, but the app should be considered incomplete until this feature is restored. Firefox is an extraordinarily popular browser, and I'm so bummed to suddenly be unable to use it for airdroid. I really hope this feature will be restored.

HTTPS is missing. This appears to be a reduction in security. Can you explain Airdoid's reason for reducing security? Until HTTPS is restored I will be searching for a secure alternative to an otherwise excellent app.

Thanks for the quick reply. Changing the settings and restarting presented HTTPS again. This freature is tucked away but still present. Keep up the good work .. this app remains the best.

I get the same error. It all worked fine until I was informed I needed to upgrade for no good reason. Also, settings changes don't take effect immediately, or even immediately after restarting airdroid, but that's a different topic.
