Can I use AirDroid to control Pandora, Netflix

I have tried, and all I get is some kind of desktop that doesn't resemble my Xoom at all. I don't have a call log, because it's not a phone, same with Ringtones. If I am not using this to send an SMS message, exactly what does it do? When I search for Pandora, I can "download" or "delete" but not run, I already have it downloaded, have been using it for many months prior to AirDroid.
I see many glowing reviews, but what am I missing? I want to like it...

I would love to see some videos of what exactly I can do with it. So far, I can't find anything to use it for.

I was hoping to use this app the same way dentedvw was. I have my tablet hooked up via hdmi to my tv to watch netflix on it instead of my small screened tablet while I work. Guess I'll have to keep looking for a better solution.
