Can't connect desktop browser to Airdroid on phone any longer

When launching Airdroid on my phone and hour ago, I was gobsmacked as the user interface was completely new. I have no recollection of updating or upgrading since I used the app last time.

Anyway, it's now impossible to connect my desktop browser to the phone. I have used the app ever since it came out a couple of years ago and never had issues connecting. And I have not made any kind of changes to my network, router, computer or phone - except from this new upgrade/update that obviously took place without me knowing about it.

Here are my details:

Phone: Airdroid 4.0.0 on a Samasung Galaxy S5 with Android 5.1.1
Computer: Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan) with Google Chrome Version 54.0.2840.98 (64-bit)
URL to Airdroid: http://192.168.176.190:8888/
No proxy or firewall that prevents the connection.

Can you please help me figure this out, or let me re-install previous version of Airdroid?

Kind regards,
Dan

Hi Dan, sorry to hear that.

Would you please uninstall AirDroid on your device, and reinstall it to see if it works properly?

And you may also install the previous version here: https://www.airdroid.com/en/download.html
