AirMirror Problems

Okay, so, whenever I start AirMirror, it starts up fine, but when my screen shows up, I'm able to click the screen, but I can't press my home or back button. Sometimes, AirMirror doesn't start up at all, but that's probably a problem on my end. Can someone help me out?
