Reverse Tethering possible with no root or OTG cable?question

I would like to be able to use my laptop's internet connection on my tablet over USB. I've tried a couple other apps but they either require root access or a special USB host (OTG) cable. Wondering if this is possible with AirDroid using my regular cable.
