Hi,
Would you please check the permission manager on your phone settings, find AirDroid and uncheck the permission of send/receive/modify SMS messages. Then you won't receive the SMS notifications through AirDroid on pc.

Hi, I'm on Android 5.0 Lollipop. I don't think I have the luxury of disabling those permissions..
