broken screen...airdroid usless?

have a samsung galaxy s6. dropped it now screen wont come on but phone works fine. can not get airdroid to connect to phone because of moronic permissions. need to get photos and contacts off the phone before i throw it away...is there a way to force my way on to the phone to get this stuff?

try plugging it into your computer... most likely Windows 10 will see the device and allow you to access the phones storage (internal and sd card storage) At least that's how it worked on my Galaxy S3 and my Axon 7. For the samsung you may have to look on XDA's website or search for Samsung Phone Drivers on google .. you may have to install separate drivers for it if Windows doesn't automatically install them.

I'm having the sane issue. My wifi is not enabled and my usb debugging is set to charge only> HOw do I regain control of my device while I wait for digitizer to be delivered?
