The long desired AirDroid 4.0 is finally here! In this update, we focus on

1. Easier- UI renovation
2. Faster- Nearby feature upgraded.
3. More control- sign out from phone and more.

Easier- UI Renovation
At the front page you will see:

• File Transfer – Stood still in the bottom horizontal bar.
  
  • You can transfer file to PC or vice versa here.
  • Logout from Web and PC whenever & wherever you want!
  • Share files with friends even without internet via Nearby.

• Tools – All other features could be found here.
  
  • Desktop Notif - Notification Mirror and reply setting is here.
  • Files Manage - To easily sort the files out on phone, you can count on it.
  • Backup - Don’t have to be worried about losing photos & videos anymore.
  • Booster - Help you make your phone run faster.
  • Find Phone - Assists you finding your phone when needed.
  • Tethering - You can share network with PC when need a connection.

• Me – Where you can find settings and troubleshooting.

    • Account - Change your password and sign out here.
    • General - More service could be set here when using AirDroid.
    • Help - You can gain a quick access to help about AirDroid 4.0 here.

Faster- Nearby Feature Upgraded
You want to transfer file anytime, anywhere and more importantly, with anyone. We heard you!

• Nearby – You can transfer file with your friends even without internet!
  
  1. You can use “Help your friend install AirDroid” to invite your friends.
     
     • 
     • Ask your friends to enable Wi-Fi and connect to this hotspot.
     • 
     • Scan the QR code or visit the URL to download the AirDroid installation package.
     • 
     • Once finished, tap back button to close hotspot.
  2. You can Initiate or Join a network so there’s no internet needed.(more details on how)

  3. Click the question mark on upper right to guide you.

More Control
We want to make sure your multi- screen life is all under YOUR control.

• Now you can sign out your accounts on PC & Web whenever you want!
  
  • Sign out from PC: Go to Transfer in AirDroid app > My Computer > Tab the upper right icon > Sign out from PC

• Sign out from AirDroid Web: Go to Transfer in AirDroid app > AirDroid Web > Tap the upper right icon > Sign out from Web

• Notification Mirror – help you decide whether you want your calls & text notification to show on your screens.
  
  • It can be all set in “Tool”> “Desktop Notif”
  • 
  • Turn off “Mirror phone call Notification” and “Mirror SMS notification”service.

As we AirDroid provide a total solution, like all the features we have added in the past year, we want to make sure every additional has perfect compatibility to offer you brilliant experience. We are still carefully evaluating it, so stay tuned, we will not hide it when it is ready! =)

How can I remove / move the 4.0 notification off of my web client screen? Intrusive!

Why i need an account to transfer?
Why i need premium when i have SEND ANYWHERE, ZAPYA or XENDER for freeeee.
Say failed, on i try to send from my Huawei G8 to my pc.
On pc version, Pluto Tv it a malware.
Nothing change on airdroid.
Unistall and unsubscribe, forever.

How do I connect like with the old version? Can't find it anymore. That was the nice part, just enter IP and ready to go. Can't find it on the new version. Can I downgrade again?

quiero establecer mi celu que se vea en la patalla no aparece

Updated on my phone and my Mac. Problem is that when I open on the Mac it tells me that is running AirDroid 3 and my phone is not up to date. I have deleted the program several times for it only to do the same. Is there a way to get it to work on my Mac or make my phone go back to the previous version.
