Failed to connect to the server -23000

System:
Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit8gb RAM
Intel i7-2700K

This application will not connect no matter what I do. I have uninstalled it and re-installed it and it just doesn't work.

I have eliminated my own network as an issue, as my work computer (Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit) is having no issues connecting within the same network.

As for security settings on my windows 8.1 machine, I have verified that I installed the application as an administrator and that I'm even running the app as an admin.. Still nothing.

I really hope this starts working, cause I really do like the software suite (when it works!)

I'm bumping this up, because I still have this issue. Is there somewhere else I should go for support?

I'm in the same boat. I have never gotten the Desktop app to work. Error -23000 every time for weeks. I tried reinstalling as administrator too, even re-downloading the installer. No dice.Windows 7 64bit/ Rooted Sprint GS4 4.4.2

Installed as Admin
Repeated (100's) attempts to login later
Web login works fine on the same PC

Doing a tracert on the srv3.airdroid.com host (the one thats giving me problems), it looks like there might be a routing issue going on with AWS - something the airdroid team NEEDS TO TALK TO AMAZON ABOUT RESOLVING!

Doing some testing I can manage to connect most of the time by trying to connect on a wireless network, waiting for it to get stuck on authenticating before the error pops up, disconnecting from the wireless network then immediately reconnecting. Another error will pop up saying the connection was lost, you can reconnect or cancel, press reconnect. I am not sure what is happening when this happens, can anyone else test this?
