AirDroid Win and Mac Sign In Failure Diagnostic Self Help Guide, Tech Savvy Preferred

Update:

AirDroid has the latest update to v3.0.3, please update both on desktop client and android app. It will improve signing in stability, if you still have issues, follow the guide below and comment.

We know how frustrating you are when you want to use AirDroid and cannot sign in, and you would see some error codes you don't understand. Due to complicated network, sign in issues still exist. Developers are working hard to improve the stability, meanwhile, you, could play a critical part in helping us achieve it.

If you cannot sign in to AirDroid desktop client, and see these error messages:
-10000
-10801
-10802
-10011
-10803, -10804
-21000
-22000
-23000
-24000
-25000
-25814
-26000
-26860
-26861
-26813

you can play detective and find out what is the cause of the failure.
If you see other error codes not included in the above, please tell us your error codes in the comment and we will deal with the problems.

OK, detective time.

The most common reasons for the above error codes are the unstable network environment or server connection failure.

Step one: Use IE browser (IE for Windows users, and Safari for Mac users) to run these links according to the error codes:

[/b]
-10000: https://id3.airdroid.com/p14/pc/signin or https://id3.airdroid.com/p14/pc/autosignin

-10011: Try again and again, if still fails, leave your AirDroid account email and this error code in the comment

-10801, -10802: https://id3.airdroid.com/p14/pc/signin or https://id3.airdroid.com/p14/pc/autosignin

-10804, -10803: Unstable network environment, try again

-21000: http://push.airdroid.com:8098/session/get

-22000: http://push.airdroid.com:8098/channel/save

-23000: https://srv3.airdroid.com/p14/DeviceAll/Init

-24000: http://push.airdroid.com:8098/poste2eencpubkey

-25000, -26000, -26860: leave your AirDroid account email in the comment, attach your AirDroid logs.

-25814: Server timeout, please try again

-26861, -26813: leave your AirDroid account email in the comment, attach your AirDroid logs.

(This forum currently doesn't support attachment, you could copy your log to http://pastebin.com/ and leave the link in the comment, just a suggestion.)

And send us the screenshot of the result page. If you can open these links, and display messages like these:

-10000: https://id3.airdroid.com/p14/user/signin
{"code":"-1","msg":"Authorization failed"}
or https://id3.airdroid.com/p14/user/autosignin
{"code":"-4","msg":"Token invalid"}

-21000: http://push.airdroid.com:8098/session/get
{"data":{"data":"b8aa1abc89c624e3b3af"},"ret":0}

-22000: http://push.airdroid.com:8098/channel/save
{"ret":65534}

-23000: https://srv3.airdroid.com/p14/DeviceAll/Init

ImageIf you click open, and it will pop out:

ImageIt means normal.

-24000: http://push.airdroid.com:8098/poste2eencpubkey

ImageThis is normal, if you have HTTP 405 error, other error codes are abnormal.

-25000: leave your AirDroid account email in the comment, attach your AirDroid logs.
-26000: leave your AirDroid account email in the comment, attach your AirDroid logs.

Step Two:
If you can open these links normally, then you need to try to sign in again and again. If you still encounter sign in failure all the time, you have to check if AirDroid is blocked by your firewall. If you turn off your firewall, and you still cannot sign in, please leave your comment and let us know.

If you cannot open these links properly, first, you need to check if your IE browser is using proxy or not. Turn off your proxy, and try to sign in again. Second, if you are using VPN, turn off your VPN and try to sign in again.

If you have 404, 500, or 502 error codes opening above links, please leave a comment attach your logs.

How to find AirDroid logs?

Windows: C:\Program Files\AirDroid\Exception or C:\Program Files (x86)\AirDroid\Exception

Mac: Click Finder--Click Go--Press Alt until Library shows--Click Library

In the End
We are still improving the stability of AirDroid desktop client, if you’d like to help us improve it (with your help we could solve problems faster), and wanna try out our test packages (closed testing), just leave us your email in the comment and tell us you want to be beta testers.

P.S. This guide is applied for AirDroid v3.0.0-v3.0.3

I can see this response after I entered the REQUIRED proxy credentials.
{"code":"-1","msg":"Authorization failed"}
There is no way to connect to the internet without using the corporate proxy server.
For special issues we have SOCKS5 support but with the AirDroidf Win Client there is no option to configure a proper SOCKS5 proxy servers link.

pls implement proper proxy support.... or choose a different approach like TeamViewer is using....

Hello,

I have the -26000 error. I tried looking for the log file but I couldn't find it. Firstly, airdroid is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\AirDroid" rather than "C:\Program Files\AirDroid" and secondly there is no exception folder or any log file of any kind in that folder. Please can you help.

thanks,
Daniel

My error is -21000. I can't open the links in Internet Explorer.

I'm sure this is because of our corporate firewall which only allows "normal" websites and kills all connections to other port numbers.

Does this mean the Desktop version of AirDroid is not usable at all in environments with restrictive firewalls to the internet?

Note: a direct connection to the Ip address of my phone works and I can start the web version without problems.

-23000 error code

Using Fiddler monitoring while trying to sign in - it appears that the call to:

https://srv3.airdroid.com/p14/DeviceAll/Init?name... fails:

Please note - I have removed the "name" and "account_id" parameter from the following GET command

GET /p14/DeviceAll/Init?name=REMOVED&account_id=REMOVED&unique_id=&device_type=2&mac=&local_ip=&local_port=30001&os_type=64%e4%bd%8d%7cWindows+8.1+Pro&app_version=3.0.2.0&channel=0&session=b8aa1abc8bc629e0b3a9&_t=bc9b9ecc09f54f2892ebe29a309708f7&app_channel=0

Result:
{"code":0,"msg":"params wrong","data":""}
