Sending SMS does not work

The problem seems to be the different transfer of the number.The mac and win client drops the + at the beginning:

@LStefan: The SMS is transferred to the phone and it works when the number does not contain the country code beginning with +. You do not have to root your phone to send SMS using the windows software.
It can be reproduced if the number is changed in the address book eg. from +49175123123 to 0175123123. After changing the number you have to delete the SMS thread of this contact on the phone and the windows software must be refreshed. It seems that the number is cached.

In my opinion this is a simple bug and I'm a little bit disappointed that there is no comment or response from the airdroid support.

I'm living in Germany (just like moesby?). Airdrop Client for Mac seems to not handle the specific prefix "+49" correctly.

Web Interface does work though.
