Airdroid crashing on Windows 8.1

I have been trying to use Airdroid on Windows for quite some time. All the way from versions 3.0.1 to 3.0.3, it simply does not work. As soon as I start the application it crashes without even showing the UI. I tried the following
Restarting the computer after installation
Reinstalling multiple timesRunning as administratorRunning in compatibility modePlease let me know if there is any suggestion
