Double SMS being sent on both web based and applicationquestion

Samsung galaxy s4, google edition custom ROM

Airdroid app on phone and app on windows 8 are both updated, however still sends SMS messages twice in both web based Airdroid and the windows 8 application. Everything is updated. This has been happening for months now. I see threads about it going all the way back to 2012. Is it simply because of my ROM? or because I am using GO SMS for airdroid instead of my default messaging app?

This is happening for me as well.  The device is new, purchaed 3 days ago, and has not been rooted.  Using the original messaging app for the device.

I've also rebooted the device to make sure, but to no avail.

Your device model, Android version? This happens both when you sending SMS on web.airdroid.com and AirDroid Win/Mac? Do you install any 3rd party SMS app and use it as the default SMS app?

And can you send some sreenshots or record a video for us? Thanks
