I can no longer connect to device on home network

Hello all,

I can no longer connect to my phone using AirDroid. Here is my process:
  • I go to http://web.airdroid.com using Google Chrome v43.0.2357.81 m (64-bit) on a Lenovo Desktop PC running Win 8.1
  • I launch the AirDroid app v3.1.2 on my Samsung Galaxy S4
  • I touch the QR symbol in the app to scan the QR code on my screen
  • I scan the code
  • AirDroid in Chrome tries to connect:
  • AirDroid fails to connect with the following error message:
(EDIT: Sorry, I shrunk the image down too small. In case the message is hard to read: "To sign in via QR code, it's required to sign in to an account on the device, unless the device and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.")


The thing is, both the computer & the phone are connected to the same router:
  • The same network name shows up on both the PC & the phone
  • The computer is connected to the router via ethernet/CAT5 cable
  • The phone is connected to the router via Wi Fi
  • I'm pretty sure I have connected this phone to this computer using AirDroid before
  • I'm pretty sure I have connected these 2 devices with the same setup (PC --> CAT5/Phone --> WiFi) before
Anybody know what is going on?
