visible border on desktop

Even when airdroid is minimized the visible border of the main window still lingers on desktop on Win 8, 8.1 and 10.
Is there any way to remove it or is this a known bug?

Hello, my apologies if I shouldn't necro this old post.
It's regarding these borders, I've discovered what triggers them on my pc. It happens whenever I use my screen's "rotate desktop" functionality (I like to turn my screen over and use it in portrait mode as opposed to landscape sometimes).
If I were a gambling type, I'd bet that Airdroid will leave behind these borders whenever the desktop's properties (resolution, color mode, monitors added/removed, anything that causes the screen to flash) are changed.

OS: Windows 7 x64
GPU: AMD Radeon 7950HD
