Not dismissing Android notificationsquestion

After using Airdroid on my Windows PC and sending and replying to sms messages, I noticed that none of the notifications on my Android phone were dismissed. I would think after acting on a notification on Windows that it would dismiss the same notification on Android.

I'm sure this is normal behavior, but has this been addressed as something needing fixed?

I am wondering the exact same thing on mac. Maybe there's a setting somewhere we haven't checked ?
