I have AirDroid installed on both phone and computer and am still unable to drag and drop photos. Also, I did not see my phone's build number on list of "rooted" phones. What does rooted mean and why isn't this phone listed?

And if you can't transfer photos to computer from Samsung Galaxy 5 Active in that way, maybe you can try Samsung data manager tool. With its help, you can easily access photos on Samsung Galaxy 5 Active and transfer them to computer easily.
