Airdroid Blank Screen

Hi, Just downloaded Airdroid, hoping to connect with my now smashed screened Moto G via USB to pull contacts etc from it. However if I try to open the program, all I get is a blank screen? I can move the mouse curser about, but nothing else happens? I also cant do anything else in windows and need to restart the laptop.... am I doing something wrong here?

Any help would be appreciated.
