SMS successfully sends through the Desktop app but does not appear in phone

My phone is the huawei p9 on Nougat. Sending sms through the desktop app works fine but it doesn't appear in my phone. So i can chat with another person, but all I see on my P9's default sms app is all his replies but none of mine which I have sent through the desktop program.

Hi Benjamin,
Kindly note that upgrading sms sent by non-default apps are decided by the phone system, but Huawei restricts upgrading the sms sent by the non-defalut apps to the phone. That's why the new sms doesn't show on the phone, and sorry that we can't do anything about that for now unless it has been released.
